So, before this I’ve posted about how I ended up choosing MC111 Diploma in New Media Communication and Contentpreneurship (MC111 Diploma Komunikasi Media Baharu dan Keusahawanan Kandungan UiTM). As promised, now I’m going share to you guys about how I went through the Masscomm UiTM interview. The interview was in UiTM Shah Alam since I live in Shah Alam. The number of people there was just a huge. From what I heard from others, the acceptance is like 3/10 from the total number of people who applied. Yup, a lot of rivalry but that’s mainly for the normal Masscomm (MC110). For MC111 Masscomm MC111 I’m not entirely sure because during that time, it is considered quite new and not many knew about it (I’m the 4th batch). So okay, I came early wearing baju kurung and closed black shoes with all the things that I have prepared and it’s a lot. I had to carry like 3 bags.
Here’s a list of what I prepared:

Now let me tell you how I ended up pursuing my studies in MC111 Diploma in New Media Communication and Contentpreneurship (MC111 Diploma Komunikasi Media Baharu dan Keusahawanan Kandungan UiTM Lendu). At first, I actually wanted to apply for a diploma in Graphic Design because when I was in Form 4 I entered the F1 in Schools Malaysia competition just like what I posted in my last post PERSONAL: My Highest Achievement in F1 in Schools Malaysia and my team won 2nd place for Nationals and I was the Graphic Designer of my team. So as I’ve acquired all the knowledge on graphic design, I felt more passionate and interested in it (using softwares such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Prezi). As before this, I’ve been actively passionate in designing and art itself. I even took the Art subject as an extra subject for my SPM. Clearly, I’ve set my mind into taking the Graphic Design course.
So before I made my final decision, I decided to go to the Selangkah ke UiTM to find out more about the course and survey other courses as well. So yeah, I went there but then I found out that there’s this course in Masscommm that offers the Graphic Design subject which is MC111 – Diploma in New Media Communication and Contentpreneurship (read my post about MC111 UiTM : Overview). The subjects that they offered seemed to be quite interesting as there’s so much to learn like animation, graphic design, gaming, website development and entrepreneurship (yes, there’s a business subject).
So, after I went there I had a long thought, whether to take Diploma in Graphic Designe or Masscomm MC111. Because both are more less the same to me. But I do have problems in public speaking since I’m very shy, but I have developed a lot through the competition. I thought to myself why not, if I improve more and learn new things instead by pursuing my studies in MC111 UiTM? And I did. I applied for MC111 UiTM for my first choice and Graphic Design for second. When the day came I got my first choice which is MC111!!!
As for my experience when I was interviewed, I’ll write about it in my next post. For more information about MC111 UiTM visit the MASSCOMMELAKA UiTM website or my blog post MC111 UiTM : Overview .

The highest achievement during my high school years and the most memorable is winning 2nd place during the National Finals in the F1 in Schools Malaysia competition. Basically, our school (SMK Seksyen 9, Shah Alam) was considered rookies since we haven’t entered the competition since our seniors represented the country and collaborated with Germany in 2009 if I’m not mistaken. So we had to start from scratch starting from understanding what the competition really is about, what software to use, how to design the F1 car, how to manufacture (considering different types of materials), make designs for team branding, marketing and also managing the team.
My team is called Infinite 9. Why? Because we wanted to go beyond expectations and the number 9 represents our school which is SMK Seksyen 9, Shah Alam. My role in the team is as the Graphic Designer. I’m basically in charge of team branding such as designing the team logo, team uniform, portfolio, booth, merchandise and others (using softwares such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Prezi). When I first entered the team, I was in a bit of a blur I didn’t even know what it’s about and what I’m supposed to do. I don’t even know how to use a designing software. I started off slow by learning the basics of using the Adobe Illustrator software. It was something really new to me as not all students at my age knows how to use it and what it is. So you could say that I’m ahead of others because I entered this competition.

Denai Alam Recreational and Riding Club
I’ve started horse riding in the early year of 2015. Initially I discovered this place, Denai Alam Recreational and Riding Club while searching for an archery lesson nearby and they had one. At first, I took archery lessons for about 2 months but then I shifted into learning horse riding there as all of my family members signed up for it.
Truthfully, I was really terrified of horses. I won’t even come near it but there was once when my father forced me into riding one at the Joy Ride section and let me tell you I didn’t move an inch while I was on the horse. Continue reading “Travels : DARC Denai Alam Horse Riding Experience “
